FIBARO Swipe is a wireless, battery powered gesture-controlled pad that allows you to activate Z-Wave scenes or commands with a simple wave of the hand.
FIBARO Swipe has the appearance of a small tablet but instead of a touchscreen, it uses sophisticated motion identification technology to respond to six distinct hand gestures including four directional swipes (up, down, left, right), and two circular motions (left, right). A single gesture or a combination of gestures may be used ? for example, swipe ?down? to turn off the lights, ?up? to open your blinds. The FIBARO Z-Wave D/W Sensor 2 is a smart magnetic door/window sensor capable of sending binary ON/OFF commands wirelessly using the Z-Wave network (AUS/NZ version 921.42 MHz) when it is triggered.
The detector consists of two magnetic units, one is placed on the moving part of the door or window and the other on the frame. The sensor expands the capabilities of your Z-Wave system by monitoring the opening of doors, windows and garage doors.
The FIBARO Z-Wave D/W Sensor 2 can be used to automatically turn on lights, turn wireless switches ON/OFF and for security applications within the Z-Wave network. It is also useful for climate control systems, monitoring whether any doors or windows are open to ensure that your air-conditioning is not operating when it is not efficient to do so.
This sensor includes a built in temperature sensor which further extends your Z-Wave network's climate control capabilities by allowing it to detect the exact temperature in your home.

After all the details are confirmed by the system you will need to go to New service and press Reload Engine after this you will need to wait for the device to reconfigure before it will appear in your system, but once it has it should appear as a D/W sensor in the Vera UI.

Installation
Place the Swipe onto its holder.
Place the Swipe within the direct range of your Z-Wave controller.
Plug the power source into the micro-USB port if required.
Set the main controller in (security/non-security) add mode (see the controller?s manual).
Move and hold your hand close to the center of the pad.
If the device is battery powered, high pitched beep will signal exiting the Standby Mode.
Loud sound sequence will confirm entering the menu, keep holding your hand.
After hearing two short beeps (green indicator colour), withdraw the hand and perform swiping up gesture to confirm selection (two beeps will confirm validity).
Wait for the adding process to end.
Successful adding will be confirmed by the Z-Wave controller?s message and 3 short beeps (green visual indicator colour).

The Fibaro Z-Wave Single Switch 2 is a smart Z-Wave module capable of remotely operating your existing light fittings. It works with Z-Wave enabled controllers (AUS/NZ version) and can be controlled individually or as part of a group in a pre-configured Scene.
The device is designed to operate inside your wall socket and can be easily installed by a qualified electrician.
This Fibaro Z-Wave Single Switch 2 requires 3-wire (including neutral) installation and works with an AC (110-230V) or DC (24-60V) power supply.
The Fibaro Z-Wave Single Switch 2 also features a secondary switch input which allows it to directly control other associated Z-Wave devices. This means that by turning the switch ON/OFF you can also turn other associated devices ON/OFF even if they are not physically connected to the same Fibaro module. It also enables you to control the local load as part of 2-way and multi-way lighting circuits.

Configuring Z-Wave Devices
Z-Wave devices often have several configurable parameters which you can change using your Vera?s user interface. These parameters can include things such as the length of time a Z-Wave siren remains active or the type of manual switch connected to a Z-Wave light controller.
Every available configurable parameter is listed in your device?s user manual. In most cases, your device?s default parameters will be suitable to your needs however sometimes it may be necessary to adjust them to optimally use your device. A guide to configuring Z-Wave devices with Vera UI7 is available in the Manuals section.
