Product Description

The Z-Wave.me Z-Wave RaZberry Card 2 adds all the components needed to turn a Raspberry PI board into a fully operational and inexpensive Z-Wave gateway. Designed to sit on top of the GPIO connector (not blocking the USB boards), it is powered by the Raspberry PI board with 3.3V and communicates using TTL signals (RX/TX).

It hosts a Sigma Designs ZM5202 Z-Wave transceiver module, an external 32 K SPI flash for network data and a PCBA antenna. (Beside the PCBA antenna there is also an option to solder a whip antenna and a IPEX connector.)

Additionally, two LEDs are used to indicate the status of the Z-Wave controller chip.

The Z-Wave.me Z-Wave RaZberry Card 2 also contains Z-Wave low level firmware that runs on the tranceiver and Z-Way – the first certified Z-Wave communication stack which handles all Z-Wave network communication, a Java script automation engine and a built in web server. This device is intended for programmers who want to write their own user interface and applications however an Installer UI and Ajax web demo are available for download to get you started. You can find them on the z-wave.me website. A basic but functional mobile app is also available for Android and Apple devices.

This product is compatible with the following devices:

The Raspberry PI is not included with this device.

Note: On the Raspberry Pi 3 you cannot use Bluetooth together with the Razberry Z-Wave module since both require a real hardware UART, but the Raspberry Pi 3 only has one UART.
Note: If you can see in expert menu different Z-Wave frequency (not AU) the solution is to update the firmware first and then go to http://RASIP/JS/Run/zway.ZMEFreqChange(n)
where n=4 for AU. This will throw a null response but then back to expert mode will show AU frequency that you can select.
If the above command want change the RF to ANZ please try the following: http://:8083/JS/Run/ZMEFreqChange(4)

The FIBARO Keyfob is a Z-Wave Plus (500 series) compatible, battery-powered, compact remote controller designed to control devices within your Z-Wave network. With six buttons, which support 30 different actions, the FIBARO Keyfob allows you to control Z-Wave devices within your Z-Wave network and run various scenes defined in your Z-Wave gateway. Configure actions for one, two, three clicks, holding the button and specific button sequences to suit all your home automation needs. The FIBARO Keyfob also features a built-in, configurable pin lock system that automatically locks the device after a short period of inactivity (60 seconds by default) which prevents unauthorized control of your home. The FIBARO Button is a compact, battery-powered Z-Wave Plus device which allows you to manually activate and deactivate devices within your Z-Wave network and to activate scenes defined in your Z-Wave gateway. The FIBARO Button supports up to 6 different actions/scenes which are triggered with one to five clicks or by holding the button down. In panic mode, each press of the button results in triggering of the emergency scene. Designed to be small and light, the FIBARO Button can be conveniently mounted on any surface and in any location (eg. beside the bed or under the desk) Note: This device may be used with all devices certified with the Z-Wave Plus certificate and should be compatible with such devices produced by other manufacturers.
