Smart Home Controller?software is required to use UZB1 and can be purchased from various manufacturers around the world. This software must be compatible with Sigma Designs?Serial API and have proper Sigma certification to manage and use Z-Wave devices from various manufacturers. This transceiver works with all certified Z-Wave?devices with the same RF 921.42 MHz regardless of the manufacturer or date of origin.
Compared to the standard firmware design used by almost all Z-Wave USB Sticks and other Z-Wave Host Interface hardware, the UZB firmware offers several extensions and enhancements:
Backup and recovery function including network topology
Optimized transmitting queue handling to speed up transmitting process
Handling to extend the battery lifetime of battery-operated devices in the network
The device implements a virtual serial interface used by the Z-Wave application. Linux and Mac OSX has a built-in device driver for the stick and will create a new device named like /dev/cu.usbmodemfa131 (OSX) or /dev/ttyACM0 (Linux). Windows enumerates a new COM device but may ?require a device driver uzb.inf available below.
If you want to run?Z-Way Z-Wave Plus certified software?with your ZME UZB1 transceiver to achieve the full Z-Wave gateway, please purchase the Z-Way licence key here at?ZwaveEurope.com?online shop and follow the procedure to install the licence on your ZME UZB1 transceiver.

The main differences in the FGS-213 are:
Z-Wave Plus certification
Has power monitoring
230V powered only (this is the same as the FGS-212)
No dry contacts - this is important. It means that the new FGS-213 cannot be used to control low voltage systems such as garden lights and irrigation, or where you want a pure volt-free switch such as alarm panels and garage door controls.
FIBARO Smart Implant allows to enhance the functionality of wired sensors and other devices by adding Z-Wave network communication.
You can connect binary sensors, analog sensors, DS18B20 temperature sensors or DHT22 humidity and temperature sensor to report their readings to the Z-Wave controller.
It can also control devices by opening/closing output contacts independently of the inputs.
The Fibaro Motion Sensor is a universal Z-Wave multi-sensor. Along with detecting motion the device measures the temperature and light intensity. The sensor has a built-in accelerometer to detect any tampering of the device. The Fibaro Motion Sensor is battery powered device and designed to be installed quickly and easily on any surface. The LED indicator signals motion, temperature level, operating mode and can be used to see if the device is within the Z-Wave network. The motion sensor can be used for lighting scenes and security monitoring systems.
Range Extender 6.
The Range Extender 6 keeps it reliable. We all know how annoying weak wireless signals can be. Weak WiFi and poor phone signals are frustrating. Imagine if your smart home was also plagued by weak wireless signals and the same frustrations? Your smart home would not be very smart. The Range Extender 6 from Aeotec ensures that your connected home stays connected. It intelligently listens to the commands and reports that your Z-Wave network sends, actively capturing weak signals and then amplifying and repeating them.

Product Details
The Fibaro Z-Wave Single Switch 2 is a smart Z-Wave module capable of remotely operating your existing light fittings. It works with Z-Wave enabled controllers (AUS/NZ version) and can be controlled individually or as part of a group in a pre-configured Scene.
The device is designed to operate inside your wall socket and can be easily installed by a qualified electrician.
This Fibaro Z-Wave Single Switch 2 requires 3-wire (including neutral) installation and works with an AC (110-230V) or DC (24-60V) power supply.
The Fibaro Z-Wave Single Switch 2 also features a secondary switch input which allows it to directly control other associated Z-Wave devices. This means that by turning the switch ON/OFF you can also turn other associated devices ON/OFF even if they are not physically connected to the same Fibaro module. It also enables you to control the local load as part of 2-way and multi-way lighting circuits.
This product integrates with all Australian certified (921.42MHz) Z-Wave controllers including:
Raspberry PI with RaZberry Card
Fibaro Home Controller 2/Lite
DHS Z-Wave Universal Remote Controller
DHS Z-Wave Mini Remote Controller
Configuring Z-Wave Devices
Z-Wave devices often have several configurable parameters which you can change using your Vera?s user interface. These parameters can include things such as the length of time a Z-Wave siren remains active or the type of manual switch connected to a Z-Wave light controller.
Every available configurable parameter is listed in your device?s user manual. In most cases, your device?s default parameters will be suitable to your needs however sometimes it may be necessary to adjust them to optimally use your device. A guide to configuring Z-Wave devices with Vera UI7 is available in the Manuals section.
Please check the maximum load before installing or operating. This installation must be done by a certified electrician in Australia and New Zealand. Before engaging an electrician, check that they provide an electrical compliance certificate. For a warranty claim, you have to provide an installation compliance certificate from your electrician.
Supports Z-Wave network Security Modes: S0 with AES-128 encryption and S2 Authenticated with PRNG-based encryption.
Works as a Z-Wave signal repeater.
Allows for connecting sensors:
6 DS18B20 sensors,
1 DHT sensor,
2 2-wire analog sensor,
2 3-wire analog sensor,
2 binary sensors.
Built-in temperature sensor.
This product works with :
Fibaro Home Controller 3/2/Lite
Please note:
THE DEVICE IS NOT COMPATIBLE WITH VERA HOME CONTROLLERSBefore installation
Connect only in accordance with one of the diagrams,
The device is powered with secure voltage; nevertheless, the user should be extra careful or should commission the installation to a qualified person,
Do not connect devices that are not compliant with the specification,
Do not connect other sensors than DS18B20 or DHT22 to SP and SD terminals,
Do not connect sensors to SP and SD terminals with wires longer than 3 meters,
Do not load the device outputs with a current exceeding 150mA,
Every connected device should be compliant with the relevant safety standards,
Unused lines should be left insulated.
Tips for arranging the antenna:
Locate the antenna as far from metal elements as possible (connecting wires, bracket rings, etc.) in order to prevent interferences,
Metal surfaces in the direct vicinity of the antenna (e.g. flush mounted metal boxes, metal door frames) may impair signal reception!
Do not cut or shorten the antenna ? its length is perfectly matched to the band in which the system operates.
Make sure no part of the antenna sticks out of the wall switch box.
